Dock-ola: Jukebox Listening Post

Introducing the Dock-ola! Spinning sounds of Barrow’s independent music scene 1976-1996 at The Dock Museum 🎧

The Dock-ola is part of a most-excellent exhibition from John Hall (of Artspace) featuring music and memorabilia from fabulously-named bands like Smells from Hell, Hash n Thrash and The Magic Bulbs.

Delighted to clock Damo Rose's Dad from the Bulbs getting a kick listening to his band's track Resurrection on our Jukey. Plenty of belters on the playlist worthy of a revival 🎤⭐

This was a fabulous commission transforming a hospice shop bargain writing desk into a retro jukebox. It features an ghostly 3D jukebox mechanism and some very flashy Raspberry Pi glowing track-selection buttons a lot of groovy laser-cut lettering.

Laser-cut cake boards for just the right vintage chrome effect 👌
